Cannot read last title

On a couple of dvd's that I burned some time ago on the standalone recorder, say title 1, title 2, title 3, all titles visible but last title refuses to play. Stick the disc through dvdShrink and I get "invalid navigation structure", stick in decrypter and it shows status: incomplete. These recordings are where I stuck a vhs clip on, then another etc, then finalsed the whole thing at the end. What could I have done that won't allow the last title to be read, even though its there ? Is there any way to recover it ?

Typically, the problem would be a disc that isn't finalized. But in that case, you can usually access the last title burned and not the previous ones. In your case, it sounds like a hardware malfunction or bad media. In either case, the video is most likely not recoverable.

Not sure what's causing that problem. I've used Isobuster on unfinalized defective discs made on a Pioneer 510 and it's been able to recover nearly all the material on the disc.
