I installed autoGK and it produces good video and sound but it is in black and white... What could be causing this?

    Please give us MORE information.

What is your source? a dvd? autogk can also convert from other source such as avi, mpg, etc.
Black and white when you play it on your computer or a standalone dvd player?

  3. The Xvid codec has a grayscale option. Make sure it's disabled.

The source are dvd vob files. If your talking about the greyscale option in the divx config zone options then it is not checked. I had to reload my PC and reload autoGK. I guess somthing is messed up although I reloaded the software after uninstall

Edit: When played on the PC using Media player

  6. I suppose you could have the Credits Greyscale Option enabled, and the Credits set to begin with frame #0:

If so, uncheck the Greyscale and Encode Credits boxes. That's not a very likely scenario, though.

To confirm it's an encoding issue and not a player issue, open the AVI in VDubMod and scroll around. If you see color, then it's not AutoGK doing it.
