    Hi,

I want to compare two subtitles files and don't find the way to open them at the same time in Subtitle Workhop. Is there a way to do that, to have both of them in the same window of the program? I mean in some split window, one above and the other below, or something like that.

    Thanks in advance

    Yes, there is a way,
    Do the following:
Open the first subtitle in SW.
Then use 3 shortcuts, one after other:
    CTRL+U
    SHIFT+CTRL+W
    SHIFT+CTRL+X
After that 3. shortcut, a window will pop-up and you have to open the second subtitle.
Now you should have both subtitles in in a same window in a split mode, side-by-side.

P.S. Those shortcuts belong to a Translation mode under Edit. If your time codes and number of subtitles are the same in both subtitles, you should have a nice comparison of both texts.

    Amazing!

Thanks a lot! That's what I was looking for.

I tried it and works perfectly, the only thing is I don't know how to open again Subtitle workshop in a normal way. I mean, after trying that I closed the program, I opened it again and it seems to be with the same configuration, translation way. Probably it needs some other shortcut to load just one subtitle in its habitual way

I edit: I found the way: unticking the translator mode
