    i convert avi files to dvd files. this i know how to do.

    then i go to nerosmart, copy and backup, copy multiple dvds.
    i import the first main movie and then the second.
    i then burn it. it works! even in the preview it shows its burning them both.

    BUT

    when i play the movie only the first movie plays and i cant see the second one anywhere.

    can anyone please help me or advise me... that would be great!

    Encode each movie to DVD specs mpg, (if it isn't already), author with a real authoring app, like TDA.
    And this isn't about DVD->AVI, MP4, WMV, S/VCD - moving you.

    Identify what kind of source video you have.
    Head over to the convert section left.
    Find your source format in the conversion selector, and " to DVD".
    Start reading the guides.
    Or - Get a DVD player that plays your source format files as is.
    Or - Buy ConvertX2DVD - one of the very few oneclick converters that work with a reasonable degree of reliability.
    The cost for the last 2 options is about the same, at least if your source format is DivX/XviD AVI.

    Use Shrink in Re-author mode for multi dvd's but you'll lose the menus.....and the quality will suffer once again if compression is needed to fit DVD-5 disk....
    And as mats suggested start reading some guides in the HOW to section....good luck and have fun learning!!
