I have recently purchased the Canon HV20, when I turn the camera on, I hear a very noticable noise for about a second. It appears to be the lense opening and focusing. Question is: Is this normal? If you have worked with one of these camcorders, do you hear the same noise? Is it fairly noticable? Should I be worried? (I'm not at the moment b/c it seems to be working just fine and I only hear the noise when the aperature is first opening when the camera is put in to "camera" mode, so it seems like a normal thing)
I am just being extra cautious with my new camera as it is fairly expensive, but hopefully the picture will prove it to be worth its price. Thanks for any response to this! Any other tips that other users of the HV20 have for me about the use and features of this camera would be great as well. Thanks again.
P.S.- The people on this forum are so helpful!
