Is this possible? MPC expert please

I have 8500GT, Vista and PowerDVD Ultimate. Is it possible to get MPC playing mkv files that contain h264 and ac3 using DXVA2 and offload onto the 8500GT? Tried renaming to mp4, ts but PowerDVD just plays the audio and no video

In a word, no. Nvidia has been talking about releasing drivers that would enable such hardware acceleration but they are overdue.
