In which player are you attempting to play the FLV video? You may need to install an FLV Splitter.

Does the FLV play properly in players like mplayer or VLC, if you have them installed?

well in the Flash Video encoder, it has a video preview and it is flipped vertically. When it is done encoding it is still flipped. Then I've downloaded the Riva FLV encoder and tried to encode my mpg using that and it said that there was an error encoding the FLV. I try other mpg's in both programs and they do the same thing. It sounds like a codec problem but im not sure.

    What do you think?

    Thanks!

    It strange...
Riva FLV encoder not use external codecs or filters.
This is GUI for FFmpeg and FLVTool2.
I'm check conversion MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 files - without problems.

    Maybe try MediaCoder or SUPER?

I would export to avi in premiere instead and convert it to flv with the flash video encoder(it's better than riva flv encoder/ffmpeg ).

well it will take a whole day to export to an avi. is there any way that i can correct this problem?

also, its an 800 MB file. That might be an issue with riva. but im not sure thats the case with Flash Video Encoder.

InfinitySquared, it's already taken a whole day to get an answer that you don't like, so you still don't have anything. If you had done the Export-->AVI, you'd be done by now.
