    I have a new JVC GR-D770 and i want to transfer the video via IEEE 1394 but the cd with there software is not compatiable with mac.Was curious if there was other soft ware available

    That's a standard MiniDV camcorder. iMovie should import it via IEEE-1394.

    Just plug it in and turn it on. I have a JVC GR series which I have used with Skype with no problem. Just make sure the camera is connected and on before running the application.
    Go off and rule the universe from beyond the grave. Or check into a psycho ward, whichever comes first, eh?
