  1. Hi!

I'm having problems with a certain file. Basically the avi file plays ok in windows, but when I convert it using TMPgenc there's a 4 sec audio delay. I tried adjusting the delay in the tmpgenc but still came out with a 1.5 sec delay (NO MATTER HOW MUCH I ADJUST IT), I tried demuxing it in Virtual dub mod and converted the audio to a wav file still the mpeg2 came out with a 1.5 sec delay. What's wrong with it? Can somebody please help me with this? Thanks!

If the audio is 4 sec too late, just chop 4 secs off the start of your wav (with GoldWave or Audacity or other audio editor), and you should be OK.

Zoom in to the start of the audio wave form (View, Zoom in), move the mouse in the wave form to the 4 s mark, hold down left mouse button, drag to start of wave form (selecting the first 4 seconds), release mouse button, select Cut under the edit menu.
    Save (as movie_4_s_less.wav). Done.
