Hi guys, just downloaded a video clip that I want to convert and burn to DVD. The video size is 625px x 256 px, when converting it to DVD using Convert X To DVD, do I choose the 4:3 or 16:9 aspect ratio option? Also, will that size of video (625x256) play on nearly the full screen of both TV's? (4:3 and 16:9).
Any help would be great.
Thanks.

Thats a widescreen format (about 2.4 : 1 AR), so 16:9 would be the best format. It won't play fullscreen on either - it is about as wide as Lawrence of Arabia. You will get black bars top and bottom on a 16:9 TV and a 4:3 TV.
For future reference, the Auto option in ConvertXtoDVD is pretty good at picking the best method for encoding.Read my blog here.

Hi,
ConvertXtoDVD v2.2 now has a new option [x] Fit To Screen.
I'm not quite sure what it does exactly but I guess it helps to fill in the screen when you have a file that's not fully 4:3 or 16:9 I guess !
v2.2 is also 20% to 30% faster !
