Hi
I normally use ffdshow in every computer I use (windows xp, 2000, and even 98)
and with that I can play any video I want.
But I try this on windows vista but I cannot play my avi files (the same files play no problem in win xp)
Anyone know what codec pack is working best in windows vista
thanx

Though I don't normally recommend codec packs because of the problems they can cause, I do use the Vista codec pack with my Vista computer: http://www.msfn.org/board/Vista_Codec_Package_v444_XP_2k3_Vista_t66826.html
It does have a version of ffdshow. But please read the text on that site before installing.
