    Hi,

I am hoping you can solve a huge problem I'm having. I have a capture from Sky HD and would like to watch it on my PS3, this as some of you may know requires MPEG-4/AVC video with AAC audio or MPEG-2 with AC3/MP3 audio.

The big problem is that the Sky HD capture has MPEG-4/AVC video like needed but has AC3 audio. I have managed to use Elecards Xmuxer pro to demux the video to end up with a .h264 file and .ac3 file. I convert the AC3 with Belight to AAC but when I come to remux the files together in a MP4 stream it just doesn't work. I ether get audio and no video or a unplayable file or if I'm lucky a file that plays but is completely out of sync by about 3 seconds.

If anyone can help me make a MP4 with MPEG-4/AVC vid and AAC audio that is playable on the PS3 I would be eternaly greatful.

    Thanks.

P.S. I have also tried demuxing with mencoder and mplayer and end up with the same problem nothing seems to want to multiplex them. Even YAMB which fails trying to mux the audio and mp4UI just doesn't want to do it either.

I am interested how you captured from Sky, I am trying to do the same, but can only do SD. How did you manage to get HD captured ? Was it from Sky channels, or just BBC HD ? I have a Sky HD subscription.

As for your problem, it seems you have tried most ways already, does AutoMKV do any sort of muxing ? Might be worth a look if you haven't already. Also PS3Video 9 might be worth a look, but I am guessing you have tried all of these.

    Cheers.

If it is a consistent 3 second delay, you could remove the first 3 seconds of audio before you remux.

It's easy: You need a DVB S2 card, a phoenix smartmouse, progDVB and the correct plug in for NDS cards.

There are also other ways, which this forum is not the one to discuss about (and don't ask me about them either!)
