Nero Keeps Shutting Down

I'm trying to create a data disc to clear some stuff off the computer, I'm using Nero, and using Nerovision Express 3, whenever I try to compile the information to be backed up, it goes through the analyzing stage then shuts down completely. Can someone please advise me what the problem could be ? I've tried to do it individually, but the problem still occurs. Thanks in advance.

Are you making a dvd-video with nerovision express or? What are you source video files???

I would use something else for dvd-video creating like DVD Flick, ConvertXtoDVD....or upgrade to latest nerovision.

I'm trying to put them to a DVD disc and write them as data video. What is the latest version of nero express ?

Your backup choices should be data or video. In your case, for backup purposes, just choose data. Then drag the files to be backed up and burn. Sounds like you are maybe choosing video and Nero is crashing because it doesn't know how to convert all the files you are choosing into a video format.
