  1. I've got an AVI video file with two sound channels on it. The main one is in French, and there's an alternative one in English. I want to convert the file to MPG with only the English soundtrack, but everytime I try, it converts with the French soundtrack.
    Can anyone help?
    Thanks

  2. Try DGIndex. Go to audio and select track. Save the project. If you stil have questions, please tell me which program you're using to convert to MPEG. (sorry for my english, it's not my mother language).

  3. Thank you for the reply Marcelo, but DGIndex doesn't seem to work with this AVI file. I tried with the version of DGIndex that I have, and when I tried to save the project, it came up with a message saying "No data. Check your PIDS".
Then I downloaded the latest version of DGIndex, and that comes up with the message "No video sequence header found".
Does that mean there is something wrong with the video file? Because I can watch it with no problem on VLC media player.
Thank you for any help you can give.

In VDubMod you can either disable the French track (streams/stream list) or swap track numbers (move up/down stream list), then save avi in direct stream copy mode and use for MPEG encoding.
    DGIndex is for MPEG input.
