Environment: Windows XP
I have a piece of software that performs analysis of scientific data and uses the data to generate an animated image on my screen. Unfortunately, it does not provide a way to export this animation to one of the customer video formats such as mpeg or avi.
Is there any tool out there that can trap the contents of an open window and save those to a video file format? Ie, a tool that can "see" the animation playing in the program I have open and write me an mpeg/avi of what is happening inside the boundaries of that window?
