Registration of svcd2dvd

I have recently upgrade to vista ultimate and installed with no problems svcd2dvd.but when it cums to the registration it goes thru the whole process even retreives machine licence but when i click register it hangs for a few seconds then closes but nufing happens and when i click on svcd2dvd icon it takes me thru the whole process again, i have switched off the firewall but with the same results any help would be much appreciated
