    i had a PS2 game with DVD 9 type, but some times it wont work. i also had DVD 9 anime with 32 episode in it, but it is horrible, some of the episodes cant be played.

    any differents between DVD9 and DVD DL?

    why some DVD9 type game or video cant be played on DVD player or PS2?

    Most likely it is a media brand issue. Try a quality brand media...for DL, use Verbatim.
