    Hiee guys!

I'm my TASCAM (US-122L) to my IMac.
    My Tascam

I am using it as my new soundcard.

The problem is when I hook the mic up to the TASCAM (or straight to the MAC) I cannot hear myself in my headphones.

    Here are some screen prints:
    Screen 1
    Screen 2
    Screen 3

Everything records fine, however, I can't hear myself in my headphones...

Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Jenny

    hmmm...

Well first off, where are your headphones plugged into? The Tascam or your Mac.

Second, your first image you included shows the Tascams inputs and outputs set to zero volume level.

And you have the system set to have the tascam as the default ouput. Can the Tascam be used as both the input and the output at the same time over USB?

    Hey Tom.

    Thanks for getting back!

    To answer your questions...
    - My headphones are plugged in to my TASCAM
    - The Zero Volume level. My PC is not letting me access that.
    - I took the default output off

    New Info
    - I am now able to hear myself in with my headphones...plugged in to my TASCAM...however, I am plugged in to my "MIC IN Left" and can only hear in the left ear...same happens with the Right side...

BTW, I adjusted my Mon Mix all the way to Input, my Phones/Line Out all the way to Max and both my SIG/OL Left and Right to Max (On my TASCAM)

What can I do to hear in both of my ears?

    Thanks again!

If you only have a single, mono mike hooked up to one channel, all you're going to hear is that one channel. If you want stereo, then you'll need two mikes, one each on left and right channels.

Well if I remember the Tascam mixers, there should either be a MONO on/off switch that will allow you to monitor the signal in monaural mode, that is you will hear any input through both channels of your headphones. Or there will be PAN control, to place any input anywhere between the left and right channel.

I'd check for either one and give them a try.
