This movie is recorded in NTSC 60Hz 29.97fps. When played in PAL 50Hz 25fps there is loss of frames which makes it somewhat jerky. I do not have a stationary DVD player that is compatible with any type of burnt CD media I am left with my VCR to record the movie. The problem is the VCR only takes a 50Hz signal. With a 60Hz input signal the picture gets all jumpy.
So to the question: Is there any way I can re-make, or play the movie in PAL 50Hz mode without the loss of frames? I know it sounds silly and impossible but I still though I should put the question out there.
Thanks for any tips,
Drem

My DVD player doesn't play burned cd's either. RCA piece of shit. What I do is use the TV outs and hook them in my reciever and watch on tv. I do the same with sound. I have the same Lord of the Rings you have and it plays great that way. That is assuming you have tv outs and audio outs on your video and sound cards.
