I have a Pinnacle studio PCTV Pro. Whenever I use virtualdub to capture from tv (ntsc), in higher than vcd resolution, I get these weird horizontal lines. They are especially prominent around text and with movement. Is this a limitation or is there some setting to fix it? I had the same problem when ripping one of my dvds to xvcd before. It had to do with "ntsc film" or some setting in DVD2AVI, IIRC. I'd appreciate any help or comments on the situation. Thanks

I haven't had much luck with the deinterlace filters in VirtualDub, any other way to combat these interlace lines?
