  1. HI! i'm lookin for help with avisynth,
where can i find list of all avisynth's filters?

    one more thing:
i'm new to this whole scripting thing, and i find it really interesting,
    but i have some questions:
whats the different between avisynth filters and VDub/MOD filters?
    i mean,
if i'm gonna use VDub/MOD anyway - is it matter what filters i'll use (Avisynth/Dub)??
does avisynth's written script have any advantages over regular encoding process without any scripting?

    any help much appreciated!
    Thanks in advance!

You can't, not all in one place, anyway. The best collection is here:

And at the top are links to collections by individual filter writers. neuron2 has a bunch. Some, especially the functions, are found elsewhere at avisynth.org, and some are found at Doom9. Maybe other places, also.

whats the different between avisynth filters and VDub/MOD filters?

Not sure I understand. AviSynth filters work in AviSynth. Many VDubFilters can also be made to work in AviSynth. VDub filters work in VDub. AviSynth filters don't work in VDub - not without using an AviSynth script file, anyway.

if i'm gonna use VDub/MOD anyway - is it matter what filters i'll use (Avisynth/Dub)??

Whenever the AviSynth filter and the VDub filter are pretty much equal in output quality, always use the AviSynth filter.

does avisynth's written script have any advantages over regular encoding process without any scripting?

It depends partly on the source. If from a DVD, using AviSynth makes a big difference - 30-35% faster encoding by allowing you to use Fast Recompress, and better quality because of no colorspace conversion.
