I just tried MediaCoder, a few problems i need help with
    1. How do i split videos? there is a fuction says auto split videos at xxx ms, but when i change task mode to split mode, it says (do not use it in this release, furthur implemenation needs to be done).
    2. my original file is 640:360, how do i change to 320:240 but still keep the 16:9 aspect ratio
(i set resize 320:240, aspect ratio 16:9, but the encoded file is 320:240 and ratio changed to 4:3)
    3. for the LAME MP3 encoder, how to i set the bitrate to 128? it displays quality as 0 to 9, which one would be 128?

original post [Is there any freeware that can convert(split, resize) rm files to mp4 to upload on youtube?
I have tried Any Video Converter (free). it is good, but i can not change the aspect ratio of the video. also, the splitting part for AVC is really bad (have to type in the range for each video)
    Cheers~
(btw, i have also tried SUPER, it just doesnt work for me >.<)]

YouTube's preferred format is 320 x 240 Xvid with MP3 audio. This, they say, will give you the best quality after they re-encode it.

RM files are a pain in the arse at the best of times, but if you search for RMVB you will find the answers you need. General avi files can be done with virtualdub quite easily.
