  1. Hi,
I have a LG DVD burner and have a problem with one specific DVD. I have a set of four DVDs (DVDs contain a PBS program). Disks 2 - 4 load fine on my PC.

Disk 1 works fine on my standalone DVD player. However it does not even appear on My Computer after I insert it into my PC. Hence I cannot use NERO Showtime or Power DVD to watch it. When I press PLAY on my Power DVD it simply says "A disk with an unsupported format is in Disk G". I assume that is a default message (I get it even when no disk is in the drive).

When I insert the disk the access light flashes maybe five times over a few seconds and then stops.

Is there something on the disk that could prevent the disk from loading on the PC? I am not even sure where to start trouble shooting this.

    thx.

  4. Hi,
I tried this DVD on another PC and it worked there. So, the next question is if someone could explain that and/or give me some way of overcoming the issue since I only have access to the second PC occasionally.
    thanks.
