Administratior account in regular mode on xp

how do i get my administrator account to show up in regular mode and not just safe mode?????

Add Users to the Welcome Screen

Start/Run/Regedit

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\SpecialAccounts\UserLis t

Create a new DWORD value and set the NAME to "Administrator" (no quotes)
Set the VALUE to 1

Control Panel - User Accounts - Change the way Users log on
Turn OFF the Welcome screen
Users now need to press CTRL-ALT-DEL to login and type their name & password

Why? It'd be better to add your regular accnt to the admin group, I think.

If you are on the Welcome screen you can Ctrl+Alt+Del twice to bring up the network logon and logon as administrator from there. Otherwise follow mats advice and add yourself to the administrator's group.

You first have to login as administrator, then go to Control Panel, User Accounts.
