Hello all, havn't been here for a while, since my PC died.
Is there any software out there yet, that can handle an .avi with a 24 bit/96khz sound track and convert it to DVD? Every converter I've tried crashes on me.
Thankyou
Kind Regards
Mike

 For DVD-Video see 3.6.2

For DVD-Audio and SACD see 3.6.1

The problem for DVD-Video is maximum bitrate per audio channel.

There are a number of apps out there that'll work with 24/96 audio, able to convert to something that is DVD-video compliant (AC3, 16/48PCM, etc). Vegas/Soundforge is one, there are others (though not many that are free/shareware). You won't really be able to do true comparisons without (24/96) supporting hardware...

Big question is: What do you have, and what do you want to end up with?
