i want to take a homemade DVD with 2 titles and a menu and remove one title and the menu then insert a first play before the remaining title. I want to use PgcEdit to do this. Can anyone help? Also how can I learn the language of PgcEdit.? I want to learn how to use it but i don't understand the basic terminology it uses. Whats the best way to learn the vocabulary and learn how to use the commands?

1. Use DVDshrink in reauthor mode to get rid of unwanted title and menu.

3. Inserting first-play clip using PgcEdit's "Insert Firstplay (startup) clip" macro under PgcEdit's Macro menu.
4. Save and burn. Done. -

I saw some reference books for sale online, but I can't recommend one. I just couldn't justify the expense based on what I wanted to do. I used Google to find them. -

If the titles are contained in separate VOB's and not joined together this might work.
1. Creat a VIDEO_TS folder on your hard drive
2. Select "New DVD" in the File Menu, and open the folder you created.
3. When prompted select NTSC or PAL (whichever is correct) as the DVD standard.
4. Select "Import VTST Title" and copy the one you want to keep.
5. Select "Save DVD" in the File Menu
6. Left click on the imported title and delete all the commands shown in the right-hand window.
7. Select "Save DVD" in the File menu
8. Insert the first-play clip using PgcEdit's "Insert Firstplay (Startup) Clip" macro found in the Macro menu.
I haven't tried step 8. The rest should work. -
You can also just set Compression to No Compression and ignore the warning DVD Shrink gives you.
