I'm using DVD2SVCD to create "backup" DVD on SVCD, it works great !
Now, I want to convert divx to Svcd with the "foolproof" method here at VCDhelp. But when I put a .vdr file in CCE 2.50 (trial) on windows Xp pro(Tbird 900mhz), CCE CRASH in the transcoding windows..... I don't understand why CCE crash, because it works perfectly in DVD2SVCD. I tried it on a celoron 366mhz ...same thing !
What am I doing wrong ?
PLEASE help me !

CCE does not work with a Celeron 366, that is normal.
CCE SP 2.5 does not work with a AMD CPU if you try to encode audio.
When does cce crash and do you get an error message?
btw, dvd2svcd use Avisynth to frameserve and it does video and audio seperately, so it is hard to compare. -
I get no error message. It freeze instanly when I load a .vdr file (with framserving in virtualdub) or a sample avi file with no audio !!!! I re-install the cce 2.50 trial ; same thing. With the 2.62 I have no problem with avi file, but it does not support .vdr file.

It may be a winxp specific problem.
