DVD-R / DVD-RW and Sony 725

Hi,

does anyone know if the Sony 725 plays DVD-R / RW media created on a Pioneer A03. Ive had mixed reports.. people say it can, people say it can't

Any answers/comments appreciated

Thanks for the info.

But thats showing the compatiability for DVD+R and DVD+RW, if you were not aware DVD+R and DVD-R, DVD+RW and DVD-RW are completely different standards.
Its good my player will play DVD+RW, but as Im buying a DVD-RW writer, still no indication that it works.
