If Digg gets shut down, we can always smuggle them some FAX machines.

In a somewhat related issue, I asked the house guru at Fry's if any of the HDMI A/V receivers on display supported HDCP for HD/BD DVD. He said no. Maybe next year. What do they support I asked? Non-HDCP upscaling DVD players he said.

What about HD cable/sat tuners? He thought only if the cable company turned off HDCP.

If I plug my HD cable tuner into a non HDCP DVI monitor, it displays HDCP on the tuner LED and locks up.

Don't you think people who are buying these HDTV sets and expensive A/V receivers are going to be a bit annoyed when HDCP is fiully employed?
