Hi, i am getting a red hue when playing most videos. i can play vids off of youtube and some other sites just fine, but other sites and some of my saved vids all have a red hue to them.
I have reinstalled my graphics drivers fresh from a driver cleaner, and I have the latest direct x goin.
one thing of note is that when i turn hardware acceleration all the way down in display properties the problem isnt there.
any ideas of what i should do? thx.

You need to adjust the video overlay settings in your graphics card's configuration applet. You should be able to find brightness, contrast, hue, and color controls.
Many online players like YouTube don't use overlay. And when you turn the accelleration settings way down overlay is disabled. Hence video looks normal under those circumstances. Most media player software will use overlay, it's more efficient and allows for other advanced features.
