    Until recently I've never been witness to this - all my machines have been assembled by myself... Until...

    Just picked up an HP Laptop. HOLY CRAP! Took about 2 hours to uninstall all the trial versions etc...

    Its pretty bad tbqo. The last prebuilt system I got was a Dell Laptop years ago. I formatted it with my own windows disk first thing out of the box. Screw their configurations.

    i thought the big guy was just Vista -- when he goes back because he 'forgot something" - that is all the bloatware ....

    to be fair - trial etc. bloatware is not MS's fault - it it the pc maker who loaded it on there ....

    True... Funny enough, I think the largest one was a trial version of MS Office.
