    Hi,

The new version of ccextractor, which I just uploaded to sourceforge (as usual, source code plus windows and linux binaries are included) can produce .srt directly from your digital recordings or DVDs, so you no longer need to use additional tools.

You can get it here: http://ccextractor.sourceforge.net/

    Use example:

    [E:\TransportStreams]CCExtractor.exe -srt Sopranos.S06E15.ts

    CCExtractor v0.17, [...]
    -----------------------------------
    Input: Sopranos.S06E15.ts
[Raw Mode: Broadcast] [Extract: 1] [TS mode: Auto]
[Debug: No] [Buffer output: No] [Buffer input: No]
[Autopad: Yes] [Print CC decoder traces: No] [Target format: .srt]
    Creating Sopranos.S06E15_1.srt
File seems to be a transport stream, enabling TS mode
