Until recently I was using MovieJack 3.5 on the PC to rip DVD movies to DivX and burn the resulting CD.

Now, I have changed my PC and MovieJack 3.5 does not recognize my new CD/DVD burner, so I am copying manually the DivX file to the CD.

All the CDs burned using MovieJack autoplayed in my standalone player, and looking at those CDs on my PC, I can not see any other file than the avi movie.

I am looking for a tool that does the same that MovieJack, anyone knows of the existence of such tool

Just Avi divx/xvid files on a cd has no authoring so you can't set it to autoplay. Maybe it's because of the burning type, like iso, iso/udf or just udf.

And are the old moviejacks cds still autoplayed on your dvd?

Old moviejacks continue to autoplay in my standalone player.
Looking at the MovieJack help, I can not see any significative technical data that give me orientation in that matter, they only tell that are using "Mode 2 Form 2 CD format", it means that instead of writing 2048 bytes per sector, they write 2324.

  4. Then you can use Mode2CDMaker. Try it with CD-RW.
