hello, first post n all, if this is in the wrong forum im sorry.
ive not long bought jvc everio (gz-mg26ek) hdd cam for filming clip for internet release.
im new to the whole video editing, caputre thing, i have been using magix movie magix edit 12 (on recomendation) and it all seems easy so far, but their are loads of problems niggling at me ,not with the editing, just with video formats in general... and getting the best out of a cam i dont really know how to use (example, ive done something to the still image mode, now its really poor and i cant change it back)
does anyone have any advice, or links to any good sites with advice on getting the best from my cam, and also, does anyone have advice on compression (in laymans terms :P, im just learning) like how to make a file small, and still look good .
cheers people !

Two fairly universal formats for web use are MPEG-1 and WMV. Most all computers should be able to view them.
