Just downloaded and Im trying out unlicenced version and all went well for 10 minutes. Now, when I open some AVI files they only play a few frames then freeze. Other AVI files play fine. This seems to be completely random. Anyone any ideas?

  2. Can you provide any information about the files? e.g., the video format, how you created them (captured directly, rendered from other software etc).

    Thanks,

    John.

    Hi Johnny...thanks for reply.
I've managed to establish that clips captured with Scenalyzer play for about 12 frames(PAL) then freeze. Clips captured and saved directly with Sony Vegas 7 vidcap, play OK in Enosoft and also when played directly from Sony Dv Camera. Scenalyzer problem?. Is there a fix?.

  4. Can you capture a short (max 1 second) clip with Scenalyzer and post it somewhere so I can take a look at the innards of the file? (I have a slow connection, hence the need to keep it short).

If needs be, you can email it to support@enosoft.net

  7. Is the sample exactly as captured or has it been rendered from a larger clip? I ask because there are no time/date/timecode data....

I can access a high speed connection today, so if you want to put a longer sample up, I can look at it. It must be exactly as captured via Scenalyzer (i.e., not a section of a clip rendered out of some editing software).

Yep. The sample is exactly as captured by scenalyzer. It hasnt been in any other software because if I put it in Vegas and rerender as AVI the problem goes away and I can then play in Enosoft. This single frame just happened to be captured on its own by scenalyzer. Would you like a slightly longer sample?. E-mailed or uploaded to putfile?

  9. Hi,

If you can capture a 1 second or so clip via Scenalyzer that crashes in our software, please post that to the same site as before. If you can then capture the same portion of the tape using a different program and post it, too, it will help me determine what may be different.

I'll have fast access, so a second or two will be okay.

    Hi Johnny..

Ive uploaded 2 captures (2 secs each). Just by way of a change I captured from a different tape and I'm getting the same problem. Scenalyzer capture hangs in Enosoft after a few frames. Vegas capture runs OK in Enosoft. The first clip was captured with Vegas...second with Scenalyzer. Here...

  11. That's odd. These two clips are .flv files - the clip the other day was .avi. May be that site automatically converts them if the files exceed a certain size.

Anyway, I'll PM you an email address that you can directly send the AVIs to....
