    I am new to this site and I wanted to know is there anyway to rip movies from a DVD without a DVDburner and save them to the computer harddrive? Thank you for your time and courtesy!!!

    Sure if you have a dvdrom you can rip the dvd files to your hard drive. If you only have a cd burner then you can't rip any dvd files. You'll need either a dvdrom or dvd burner.

    Purchase a dvd burner and replace your cd-rom and you now have a dvd-writer, dvd-rom, cd-writer and a cd-rom all in one and they are very reasonable right now. You are looking at around $40 and maybe a little less.

    I can play DVDs on my PC, I need to know how to store the movies I watch on the PC. Any ideas? Thanks again!!
