Hi guys,
When I apply the Sharpen FX in Vegas I get a bright edge around my movie. The only way I can remove it is to add a solid border which covers it up, I don't really want to do that.
I am cropping my movie so I was hoping there is a way to apply the sharpening to the uncropped version, then the cropping (which I'm doing anyway) will remove it. I don't know if that's possible, I can't figure it out.
Please help.
As an aside, I think the reason it makes the bright edges is because it uses convolution and around the edge pixels it picks (0,0,0) for the ones out of range, it shouldn't do it that way and I'm surprised the programmers at Sony don't know that. I could be mistaken though.
** edit **
I figured out how to do it. I guess I should use the Help system more. I am liking Vegas a lot now![]()
