So what justifies the $600 price ($300 bundled with a Pinnicle card!) price of Premier 6 vs EZCD or VCDimager? I'm not afraid to spend some money if it is worth it but I'd hate to make a costly mistake. Does it even burn or just author? Thanks.

Come one, come all! Hello kiddies! And welcome to my candy store! If you need to try Premiere 6 for free before you buy it, I can send it to you, and I have the instruction manual in Adobe Acrobat's Portable Document Format. I've been trying this software for free since version 5.0 and I love it! If I had the money I would buy it!
Adobe Premiere is a video editor, not a burning program. It's what people use to make the music videos you watch on MTV, or the commercials you hate so much when you're watching your favorite shows. There are tons of plug-ins that you can buy or get on IRC for free which expand the abilities of Premiere even farther than it can already go.
The only plugin I have is the Panasonic MPEG Encoder plugin, and the ones that come with the program in version 6.0
Kyoukan-sama, I can send you the PDF file through ICQ or IRC, which ever you prefer.

None of the "HOW TO"s here on vcdhelp mention authoring with Premiere so it is hard to compare.

Premiere is by far the best. Try your local library if you don't want to read the "help" files.

yeah i already tryed the library.. there aint much there
of course my library sucks
TIbrO i'm on irc (dalnet) in chanel #kyoukan my icq number is 38149857 and my email is hycrime@ourplace.com
i would perfer you email it to me because i am not always online.. also if you can send any plug-ins you have it would be nice of you -
QuickStart Book on premiere avail retail 20.00
Premiere Bible (stinks) avail 45.00
User Guide that came with it if avail.
Adobe web site loaded with free info on how to's.
If you paid for the software then you can afford the books.
If you didn't pay for it the help files with the disc (pay for the paper to print it) and the web site will help some.

Why don't you take a trip to the Adobe website and read what Premiere is...
Adobe Premiere ISN'T a VCD authoring program and it ISN'T a burning program. It is one of the best (arguably THE best) non-linear video editing programs available.

Kyoukan-sama, I added you to my ICQ list, so when you come on again, just authorize me and message me to see if I am online. I would email you the files you want, but they are no smaller than ten megs, so email is out of the question. We need to either ICQ it, or DCC it. I'll go to your chat room on DALnet and see if you're there, and you have autoaccept enabled. If you do, then I will just send you the User Guide, Quickstart Guide, and the Panasonic MPEG-1 Encoder plugin, which lets you export to VCD right from the timeline.

Aha, cool! I just went to your chat room and met Santire. I went to your site as well, and I have to say your webmastering skillz are very elite! Hehe... Very nice site. I also applied to join as a member, too. I have some warez that you could host, which are all video and audio related, and would be of great use to everyone at this site. Message me on ICQ or notice me when you get on IRC.
