    Just a quick note here that might help other people who encounter the same situation. I've been using the above RiDisc branded media for a while, but the latest batch I bought was actually a different media type (they changed from RITEKG05 to TTH02), and when I tried to burn on them (with ImgBurn) I got the error message "cannot write medium - incompatible format". Upgrading my drive's firmware from 2.15 to 2.19 solved the issue, and from initial testing the new disc type is pretty reliable.

    Also worth noting the media work flawlessly with my standalone DVD player, which is pretty picky, and only generally works with the darker dye types. E.g., it does not work with RITEK-R03-02 discs at all.
