    Hi!

    Does anyone out there know if there's a dvd recorder that makes it possible to capture say a composite source which is being played in ntsc but have it automatically convert to pal within the dvd recorder?

    my preference is for pioneer dvd recorders but i can't seem to see if this is possible from their web site.

    Typically they record in the same format as they receive. So I suspect, what you really need is a dvd recorder that can play NTSC discs and output to PAL. (Typical NTSC to PAL conversion).
