  1. Well, this is the problem, have that burner with the CS0K firmware for almost 2 years now, have burned more than 500 dvd`s and a lot of cd`s, so maybe 1000 more or less in total, but lately I`m having some issues with it, sometimes when I`m going to make the image, the DVD just spins and the driver makes some strange noises, then I put it out and then in again, until it can finally read it, then, sometimes when I`m burning with DVD Decrypter or the Clone DVD, the blank DVD just spins and it doesn`t burn anything at all, have to reset the PC, and, now I`m having some issues with the burning, it seems like everything is fine, 100% burn, but when you look the disc, there`s no burned info at the beginning, going from the centre of the disc of course, so there`s a circle without any info and then the rest of the DVD has the correspondent info, so the DVD Players can`t read them, since they read from the centre of the disc, which doesn`t have info, to the edge.

So, it is the burner that it has completed his life span maybe?, I think so, but maybe someone could make me sure about that, or something else perhaps.

sounds like the laser on your dvd burner is dying or just about dead. you could try burning with IMGBURN to see if you get the same problems. dvd burners are so inexpensive these days compared to a few years ago. you can buy another dvd burner nowdays for $30.00.
