  1. I have tried EZ CD Creator and Nero and when I am done with my VCD and put it in the computer or player it is recognized as a VCD but won't play. I made one succesful and 7 crappos. What can I be doing wrong?

    We need a little bit more info...what are you doing to encode the video? what kind of player are you using? what framerate & size? what type of media?

    I rip with smartripper, dvd2avi, tmp to encode, and just drag the mpg files into nero and burn!! (no, it's really not that easy, but....)

    Have you followed the guides here?

    The way it sounds overall, bsangam, if you can play in your computer and not in the dvd player, your player may not support vcd's.

    As far as for you jacksjink, are the vcd's you're making standard compliant?

  4. well I think I figured my problem out. Ezcdcreators VCD program and windows XP do not play well together. I repeated my moves on my other computer which runs ME and burned like crazy. I thought XP was suppose to end all of our woes.....LOL
