I would like to import a MPEG- 2 Video in to Adobe Premiere 9.0 for editing.
The video i am importing is from a dvd. I used DVD Decrypter to extract the video.
When i try to import it in to Adobe Premiere i get the following message..

Is there a program i can use to change the bit rate in the audio or is there a plugin for Premiere that allows me to import this file??

I would convert the audio to wav and use it as audio source in Premiere. Use for example goldwave and open the vob and save as wav.

Would Audacity work just as well?
    Or Sound Forge 8.0?

Something odd with the audio then - Load the source file in latest GSpot, and post a screen shot here.
