i've got a copy of swordfish in avi format and been told 2 use the above pro but on looking the spec that they say 4 the pc is way above mine this being a P2 350 can i still use the pro or does any 1 no of another as u can c i'm new 2 this game and never done 1 before

TMPGEnc will work okay on a P350, it will just be very slow !

could u then or any1 plz recomend a pro that that may be faster that i may use insted as i have tried the one above and i keep getting "part 1 .mpg cannot be created" i no i'm doing somethig wrong but what i dont know what i've read the help points but this is the first 1 that i've tried 2 do and yes i know

You can also use the Panasonic Encoder 2.51 but TMPGEnc is quicker and IMHO a better quality picture.

Are you sure you have enough HD space. The MPG file it will create will be bigger than the DivX and 10meg per minute of movie. (ie a 90min movie will produce a 900meg MPG file)

done it on the hard drive the problem was i was trying 2 burn it as it converted stupid me could u / any1 tell me which pro 2 burn it with as i've tried adaptec 5 but it ejects the disc i do have goldenhawk could u plz point me where i may find help on how 2 do this plz
