    I burned 10 tv series of tv show on dvd-r to play on dvd player...they all have sound on pc but when I play them on dvd some of them have sound and some of them don't. The audio is 192 kb/s & MPEG Layer 3 for all files but there is no sound when playing some of them on dvd player. Well, I thouth that if dvd player did not support that audio type there would not be sound at all but some files do have sound. I'm not sure where the problem could be. Can someone tell me where to start?

    Thank you

    The files that don't play - the audio is probably not in spec - too high or too low of a bitrate, etc. There must be something that's different.

    Of course, without getting something like a Gspot screen capture, we're just guessing.

    Probably easy to fix, but you'll have to burn them onto new disks again after you fix them.

    1) Download AVI_GAIN

    * Make sure your AVI file names don't have spaces in them

    Bad= My File.AVI
    Good= My_File.AVI

  3. Are these AVIs,dvix/xvids?
    If yes, then the files may not be interleaved.You can use gspot to check.
