    This "dxva_sig.txt" is created every time after I played an avi file and I had to manually delete it, is there any way to "NOT" have this "dxva_sig.txt" file AUTO generated? (I'm using ffshow).

    Thanks redwudz for the links 8)

    In dxdiag under display, disabled AGP Texture Acceleration

    OR

    In Ati video card settings/Options, disabled WMV acceleration

    OR

    MPC > Display > Options... > Output > WMP7 (without rendering)
