    I am trying to convert this .wav file to .ac3 using ffmpegGUI but it gives me this error below anyone here knows whats wrong

    What are the properties of the wav file ? Wav, like avi, is a container, and the content is defined by the codec used.

    or just use some else like aften.
    just tried aften it converted ok but didnt show me bitrates so i just converted that file to ac3 with ffmpegGUI and its ok now
