  1. I have a DVD-R data disk that I cannot access from windows. It shows up as an empty CD-Rom in the explorer and Nero disk info shows it as empty.

I know it has data on it because it verified when I burned it and Nero Info Tool and DVD Decrypter show it has content.

try reading the disk with either IsoBuster or dead disk doctor.

  4. As far as I know it was finalized. I finalize all of my disks as habit but I suppose it could have slipped through the cracks. I don't think NERO 7 lets you mount different sessions is there a way to check?

I tried IsoBuster and it read the disk and showed me the files contained. When I try to extract some of the folders it gives me a read error (figures). When I try to ignore the error and keep reading it locks up and hangs there.
