Pioneer DVR-520H disc burner isn't writing properly.

When copying from HDD to DVD, message: "Cannot Complete Copy"
When attempting to finalize DVD, message: "Could Not Complete Finalization Successfully."

    any ideas?

About the only thing you can try is a different brand/type of media. Other than that, your only option is a repair shop.

One more option is to try a laser cleaning disc. This helped with my son's DVR-510H.

  4. I would say that your Burner is about to go.. You can try and clean it...

My 510H Burner died shortly after I got that error.. Lucky my extended warranty was still good..

    Peace.

I believe the TEAC drive will burn the same type discs since they are identical. DVD-R / DVD-RW .
