    I have a 720p avi file that should have a runtime of 1hr 40min, yet in any player I play it in the runtime is 48min. If I load the file into virtualdub it reads it correctly and displays the proper runtime. So I'm wondering what the problem might be and is there anyway to fix it??

    You can try DivFix++

    Or, you can use Mencoder

    Mencoder inputfile.avi -oac copy -ovc copy -forceidx -o fixedfile.avi

    BTW, does it stop at the 1GB or 2GB mark?
